When Anna first arrived in Dubai, she saw a gap in the market, to provide small and midsized businesses with software. Since then, her company ANASOFT has become inundated with companies competing for business. Her software product is particularly favoured because it’s “open code,” which means that it’s customisable for clients, but also accessible to everyone, as long as they have access to her expertise. As the founder and CEO of ANASOFT, Anna’s greatest sense of pride comes from being regarded as a “specialist” in her field who can survive any situation, and as a programmer, she’s also not phased by the introduction of AI to the tech world. For her, “only the human brain can really create something because programming is not about writing code, it’s about creation.”
