Jennifer Hebert

Founder of The Lampstand Group

Jennifer Hebert is the founder of The Lampstand Group, a UK charity dedicated to providing safe, stable housing and specialist support for people with lived experience of domestic abuse in Hull and the East Riding. She brings her own lived experience of significant adversity,  including years of domestic abuse, homelessness, and rebuilding her life as a single mother, to her work supporting others.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer built leadership and communication skills in corporate sales and network marketing, contributing to one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK and securing multimillion-pound contracts. However, her journey from victim to survivor reshaped her purpose to support others overcoming trauma.

Under her leadership, The Lampstand Group works to relieve homelessness and promote healthy relationships for people affected by domestic abuse, offering recovery-focused, person-centred support that strengthens mental health, wellbeing and long-term stability. The organisation also advocates for positive change and awareness around the impacts of abuse, striving to empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Jennifer is an experienced speaker on topics related to abuse recovery, resilience and community support. Her lived experience and professional insight underpin her dedication to creating compassionate, practical solutions for survivors and their families.
