He joined Unipart in April 2020 as Chief Financial Officer, at a pivotal moment for both the company and the global economy. Just six months later, in October 2020, he was entrusted with additional responsibilities as Chief Risk Officer, demonstrating his ability to manage complex challenges with precision and insight.
In October 2022, Darren was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Unipart, a testament to his proven leadership skills and deep industry expertise. With more than 30 years of experience across finance and leadership roles, Darren has become widely recognised as a highly skilled and strategic professional. His career spans a wide array of sectors, from software and technology to logistics, automotive, and manufacturing—positions that have honed his ability to lead and transform organisations.
Before joining Unipart, Darren served in several executive roles within prestigious blue-chip and private equity-backed companies, including Finastra Limited, The Sage Group plc, Freightliner Group Limited, Inchcape plc, Marconi plc, and Rolls-Royce plc. His diverse experience across industries has equipped him with a rich knowledge base, enabling him to tackle global challenges and seize opportunities for growth.
